Dance Craze: Jerkin'

I know everyone has heard  "You're A Jerk" by The New Boyz, and if you've heard the song you've heard about the dance movement called 'Jerkin'. Me and my friends listen to that New Boyz song all the time, but we are all collectively confused as to what the f*ck 'Jerkin' is. Apparently it originated and is really big deal in California.
