LEGO has teamed up with a french optical company Lynx Optique to bring you these bad boys, pictured above. The design allows you to snap LEGO blocks on the sides of the shades. The idea of having sunglasses designed by LEGO excites me more than the actual execution of the design, because honestly it's a litte lackluster. I'd probably still rock 'em though.

Usher and Chris Brown at the Orlando Magic/Cleveland Cavaliers game, over this past weekend. Prior to usher saying "Have A Little Remorse, and it’s probably not the best idea to be grinning on jet skis after you’ve been accused of beating up your famous girlfriend". From the current crihanna incident, it seems all is well and that the two are working on both of there albums.
Usher has just Stated his forthcoming album will be called "Monster". As for Chris brown, Ryan Leslie will reportedly be working on Chris's third album.

Upcoming Release: Paper Heart

Paper Heart is a mockumentary starring Charlyne Yi and Michael Cera (from Superbad). Charlyne is playing the character of herself that doesn't know what love is. She travels across America to ultimately try to find out what's love, but along the way she falls in love with Michael Cera (Lol). I'm a film major and I love movies like this, so I'll try and keep you guys updated on the dopest upcoming releases. Paper Heart hits theaters on August 7th.

Unsigned Hype

Today I introduce to you a new thing I'm doing called 'Unsigned Hype'. Whenever I see a new artist that is working diligently, and on their grind, I wont hesitate to give them a little shine (haha that rhymed), no matter how big their fanbase is. These two people I'm going introduce you to are doing just that. Meet Emay and Boy Wonder. Emay is a hip-hop producer from Ontario, Canada, but he "knows no genre". He's released multiple mixtapes featuring his beats. Although he's unsigned, he's on his grind. Boy Wonder is rapper outta Memphis. New Artist Spotlight: B. Reith

Today I was at the mall in Abercrombie (just browsing), and I here this song over the speakers. I knew right away that this was white guy, but he was rapping, and was actually pretty good. So with a little help my friend Mel, I found out that the song was "Awe Struck" by B. Reith. He's a white guy from Milwaukee (Wisconsin). Signed to Gotee Records, he identifies himself as a "newfound child of God". His influences range from "Stevie Wonder to Lauryn Hill" and "B.Reith comes from a unique place that combines classic soul with modern hip hop". However, this guy is a not so new artist, but he is dope as sh*t. Check out his single "Awe Struck".

Fight at Drake H.O.B Concert

Everybody has probably already heard about the fight at Drake's concert at The House Of Blues in Chicago on friday. Well here's a nice clip of it. Apparently a fight broke out after he finished a very, sorry to say, dull, performance of Best I Ever Had. Now I like the n*gga Drizzy Drake, but if the whole concert was the unexciting then I'm glad that I couldn't be in attendance. But anyway, you know that anywhere there's black people, there's going to be foolywang. Now you can't see the fight in this video, but you can clearly see Lupe Fiasco holding Drake back, as if he was going to jump in the fight. (ha! have a seat Jimmy)

Spotlight: Up and Coming Fashion Designer

Let me introduce you to Long Tran. He's a 20 year old up and coming fashion designer, originally from Tokyo, Japan. I met Long in my New Millenium Studies class this past semester. Granted he doesn't speak english very well, and I could hardly ever understand what he was saying, his work intrigued me. I'm not really into this type of fashion, but for someone who is only 20 years old, and doing photo shoots in his dorm room, this is one dope ass mother f*cker. So it seems that Nickelodeon.. I mean Nick Cannon threw some shots on his blog at Eminem. Lol did make you giggle too? Apparently Nick is mad about a couple of bars the Em spit on his new track off of Relapse, "Bagpipes from Baghdad". “Mariah whatever happend to us, why did we ever have to break-up. Well all I asked her for was a glass of punch. You see I never really asked for much. I can’t imagine what’s going through your mind after such a nasty breakup with that laughing hump. Nick Cannon, you better back the F*** up. I’m not playing”, is what Eminem rapped. And Nick Cannon has the nerve to be upset, ha. Nickelodeon then preceded to call Eminem a lame has been (for lack of better words). Lol, Nick, Nick, NaNick, Nick, Nick. Come on now. He goes on to say how disrespectful Eminem is and how he f*cked by mentioning Nick Cannon and Mariah in his song. Now maybe if this Em and Mariah thing was new, and this was the first time Em has ever mentioned Mariah in a song (Superman), then his rant would have some merit. Nick needs to check his chic, she was the one stupid enough to f*ck around with Eminem. But this is my plea to Nickelodeon, please shut up and sit the f*ck down before Eminem comes and lyrically murders you, or he might just literally murder you. Em seems to be the type of crazy motherf*cker who would come at your head with a chainsaw, ya dig? And in other news, it seems that Joseph "JoJo" Simmons was arrested last night for drug possession, resisting arrest, attempted reckless endangerment, and criminal use of drug paraphenalia. Welp! I saw that coming from one of the Simmons kids sooner or later. I wonder if they'll feature this on Run's House?  I love the whole Simmons clan, but hey, nobody's perfect.
